Surah Falaq اَلْفَلَق ( مکیۃ) is the 113th chapter (surah) of the Quran, which is the holy book of Islam. It is also known as “The Dawn” or “Daybreak” in English. This surah is a relatively short one, consisting of 5 verses.

ركوعاتها 1113 اَلْفَلَق ( مکیۃ)اٰياتها 5
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِیْمِ
قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ(1) مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ(2) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَ(3) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِی الْعُقَدِ(4) وَ مِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ(5)

1) Say You (O Beloved), I Take Refuge In The One Who Is The Creator Of The Daybreak.
2) From The Evil Of His Entire Creation.
3) And From The Evil Of The Darkness (of The Night) When It Sets In.
4) And From The Evil Of Those Female (magicians) Who Blow Onto Knots.
5) And From The Evil Of The Envier When He Envies Me.
